The third issue of Not Even, a fanzine published by Daisy Rooks. Not Even came out of the Washington, D.C. area punk subculture and this issue includes interviews with members of the bands Downcast, Worlds Collide, and Born Against, as well as with Vic Dicara of Shelter. This issue also includes essays by Rooks and fellow zinemakers Todd Rasnick, Shayne Robb, and Alejandro de Acosta, as well as photographs, illustrations, and poetry. Essays and interviews explore perspectives on religion broadly, and specifically within the hardcore and straightedge scenes, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) and its role in hardcore, women in ISKCON, sexism within straight edge, animal rights, skinheads, and fanzines. Also included are reviews of records and performances including those by Four Walls Falling, Downcast, Born Against, Refuse to Fall, No Escape, Verbal Assault, Edsel, Desiderata, and Circus Lupus.
