Description |
The first issue of Fake, a fanzine that focused on the Washington, D.C. punk community and was edited by Irene Chien, a teenager from Potomac, Maryland. This issue contains interviews with the bands Nation of Ulysses, Bikini Kill, and Cop Shoot Cop, as well as an article on the band Circus Lupus and essays on sexism, punk culture, politics, race, and popular culture. This issue (dubbed "Issue 0" rather than "Issue 1") was the only issue ever published of Fake.
