A circa 1980s photocopy of a flier advertising a screening of Target Video concert recordings at the 9:30 Club on July 16, 1980. Bands featured in the screening inlcuded The Ramones, Talking Heads, Screamers, Mutants, Crime, the Dead Kennedys, Public Image, the Go Go's, Weirdos, Dils, Avengers and the Cramps. Target Video is a production company located in San Francisco that recorded concerts by many early punk and new wave bands, such as the ones named on this flier. Sharon Cheslow photocopied the original flier for the event while conducting research in the 1980s for the book that she co-authored on the D.C. punk scene, "Banned In D.C."
