Description on reverse reads: "Appeal for import controls on apparel coming into the United States from Japan is presented to White House deputy counsel Peter Flannigan by representatives of Clothing Workers from Baltimore. Delivering the petition signed by about 100,000 union members and friends are Mrs. Bessie McCullough, Mrs. Helen Getz and Mrs. Rita Petti. Copies of the petition, urging American and Japanese governments to agree on controls for apparel imports, also were given to the Japanese Embassy. [From] issue of 6/7/69."
