Davis section, Hollywood, Richmond, Virginia, circa 1907-1913. Message reads: "About to start for Norfolk, Don." Caption reads: "Davis Section (Hollywood), Richmond, Virginia. President Davis survived the war, in which he took so prominent a part, as President of the Confederacy, by many year, dying in New Orleans in 1889. His remains were removed to Richmond in 1893, and here re-interred. Facing his bronze statue is the beautiful monument erected in memory of his daughter 'Winnie' Davis by the Daughters of the Confederacy."
