Tomb of James Monroe, Richmond, Virginia, circa 1907-1914. Caption reads: "Tomb of James Monroe, Richmond. On Presidents Hill, in beautiful Hollywood Cemetery, lie the remains of James Monroe, fifth President of the United States. He died and was buried in New York in 1831, but his body was exhumed and removed to Richmond in 1858; a tomb of iron and granite covers his grave." Series number 2520, "Landmarks of Virginia."
