Street view of the passenger terminal of the Chicago and North Western Railway, Chicago, Illinois, circa 1907-1914. Caption reads: "Covers 10 acres; cost over $24,000,000. Capacity of handling a quarter of a million patrons daily. Located between Canal and Clinton streets, fronting on West Madison and extending over Washington and Randolph to Lake Street. One of the finest monuments ever erected to the commercial life and spirit of the West." Postmark date: June 25, 1914; Postcard number: 1925; Message included. Message reads: "June 25, '14. Dear Friends-Just a line to tell you we are having a very good time but that we have not forgotten our friends. Will leave tonight for St. Paul again and from there go down to Iowa. Hope this finds you all well. With best wishes to you and yours. ? Bruce"
