Caption reads: "The First Maryland Regiment is shown dressed in buckskins during a demonstration of frontier activity typical of the French & Indian War, 1754-1763. The fort, built in 1756 to protect settlers on the frontier from Indians, repulsed an attack during Chief Pontiac's Rebellion in 1763." Postcard number: 21711.
