Jemez Church, Pueblo of Jemez, New Mexico, circa 1907-1914. Caption reads: "There are some twenty inhabited Pueblo villages in New Mexico, comprising five tribal stocks, each of which possesses a distinct language: Queres, Tiquas, Tewes, Zunis, and Jemez. Each Pueblo has its saint's day which is observed with the usual ceremonies. At Jemez this date is August 15th. The Pueblo is reached from Albuquerque and has been inhabited since the Spanish Conquest." Postcard number: 13910.
