Message reads: "Dear Friend Seizzie [?], I received your postal, or rather the one directed to mother. I wrote last to you , I forget so about my letters that now as soon as I receive a letter I put it in one particular apartment and as I answer it, I put it in another one so I can keep the run of them better now. Mother fails so gradually every day you hardly notice it. She sits up every day. Only think her birthday is almost here. 100 years old. I think she will live to see it. Hope to receive a letter from you soon. By by with love. H.S.F."
