Christ Church in Alexandria, Virginia, circa 1901-1907. Caption reads: "This old, historical edifice was built in 1767 of bricks imported from England. George Washington was a member of the vestry and the church still contains the unaltered pew which he purchased in February, 1773. Robert E. Lee and General Fitzhugh Lee were also worshippers here." Postmark: August 10, 1907; Message included.
