The "Marble Palace," which is the residence of Mrs. O. H. P. Belmont, Newport, Rhode Island, circa 1901-1907. Caption reads: "'Marble Palace' - Residence of Mrs. O. H. P. Belmont. 'Marble Palace' was built by William K. Vanderbilt, and is one of the finest pieces of architecture in Newport. It is estimated to have cost $3,000,000. The main entrance and stairs are of Sienna stone and the dining room of red Numidian marble." Postmark date: August 22, 1907; Postcard number: 5562; Message included.
