Old cart, Laguna Pueblo, New Mexico, circa 1915-1930. Caption reads: "The picturesque pueblo of Laguna lies 66 miles west of Albuquerque, on the Santa Fe. It was founded in 1699 by refugee Indians from Acoma, Zuni and Cochiti. Several great battles were fought here in early days with the Navahos and Apaches. A wagon road leads south to the Enchanted Mesa and Acoma." Postcard number: 5885.
