|
Description |
Greider's Mill, West Pennsborough, Pennsylvania, circa 1945-1951. Caption reads: "On this site on the Conodoquinet, West Pennsborough township, 7 miles west of Carlisle, Francis Diller built a mill about 1808, later and still known as Greider's. Photo by L. Cressler." Message reads: "I decided you should all be educated on Carlisle's historic sites and buildings. You get the mill because it reminds me of flour, which reminds me of baking- and aren't you a specialist there? I'm having a marvelous time- hope to browse around tomorrow in the antique shops. R. Lewis." Postmark date: January 28, 1951; Message included.
