Post headquarters, the Adjutant Generals School, Fort Washington, Maryland, circa 1939-1944. Fort Washington was used as the Adjutant Generals School during World War II. Message reads: "This is such a pretty place, and I am having a very nice time. Wake up to the sound of the bugle in the morning, but I don't get up, which is really wonderful. Weather is very warm. The trip down was nice; pretty scenery, and a comfortable ride. Love, Flora." Postmark date: June 19, 1944; Postcard number 15,774; Message included.
