Anchor of the ill-fated Battleship "Maine", Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, circa 1901-1907. Caption reads: "A significant memorial at Arlington Cemetery is the anchor of the United States Battleship which was blown up in Havana harbor in February 1898. Under this anchor repose the remains of 163 men of the "Maine's" crew, brought from Havana, Cuba, and reinterred at Arlington in December 1898."
