Caption reads: "After 150 years of slumber, the consummation of the plan of Washington, Mason, Cockburn and other patriots, to build a brick wall and gates about the churchyard, has been made possible by the kindly acts of patriots today. In 1774 the Vestry decided that the times were too burthensome."
