Message reads: "Dear [redacted], Arrived safely at 8:30 Saturday evening. It rained all day Sunday and Monday, doubtful to-day. Very cold Saturday night. We miss you all. It seems so strange to be in the city on pavement and concrete again. What became of Billie John and Mr. M. The last minute they were gone and I didn't say goodbye to them. Tell them I was sorry and say goodbye for me. Will write soon. Thank you and S. for the pleasant time. Love, [illegible]."
