Caption reads: "The Colonial Art and Craft Shop, Winchester, Virginia is located in this fine old Colonial mansion directly across the street from the Post Office. It was built about 1820 for a residence and its inside wood work is handcarved and the doors solid walnut. During the Civil War it was used as a Military Hospital. The Shop features gifts reminiscent of Colonial Days. The newest in Home Decoratives from many parts of the world are always featured. On display over 100 patterns of fine china and crystal, imported and domestic. Correlated table lines. Lamps and shades for every decorative need.
