The West Range at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, circa 1905-1907. Caption reads: "West Range - University of Virginia, Charlottesville." Reverse caption reads: "West Range - University of Virginia. West Range is a series of dormitories (originally three hotels), lying West of West Lawn. The central one is now the hall of the Jefferson Society. In West Range, Dormitory No. 13 is known as the Poe Room, it having been occupied by the poet during part of his stay here."
