Truches, a mountain village, near Santa Fe, New Mexico, circa 1915-1930. It is built of logs and adobe and with snow-covered peaks towering behind, it has much the appearance of a primitive Siberian village. The elevation of Truches itself is nearly 8,500 feet and it commands tremendous views of mountain and valley." Postcard number: H-3536, 61772.
