Message reads: "Dear Jethro - Hope you and Auntie arrived safely & found all well. This is cold to go in bathing. Don't stay in long for that was what was the matter with Pauline Lyman for she went in too soon after eating. We had dinner alone today Father thinks it would be too lonesome all the time. Love to all & can't you mail me a letter? Father sends love too, Mother."
