United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America members from the Willamette Valley District Council of Lumber and Sawmill Workers prepare lunchboxes affixed with pro-union stickers to be mailed to Congress to protest unemployment as part of a campaign called "Empty Promises Equal Empty Lunch Boxes", October 1974. These photographs were included in an article on page 2 of the December 1974 issue of The Carpenter Magazine (https://archive.org/stream/carpenter94unit).
