Artist's depiction of the Battle of Seven Pines, Richmond, Virginia, circa 1915-1930. Caption reads: "This painting by historical artist, Sidney King, depicts the action that occurred at 3:30 P.M. on May 31st, 1862, during the battle of Seven Pines. It shows Gen. Robert E. Rhodes leading a charge of Alabama troops as they drove the Federal Artillery from their position. The painting is in an exhibit case near the actual location at Byrd Field near Richmond, Va." Battle of Seven Pines is also called the Battle of Fair Oaks. Postcard number: 1DK-992, R.23.
