Japanese Tea House on estate of Mrs. O.H.P. Belmont, Newport, Rhode Island, circa 1915. Postmark date: July 9, 1915; Message included. Caption reads: "Japanese Tea House on estate of Mrs. O. H. P. Belmont, Newport, R. I. Built over an old tunnel on the Cliff Walk. All the building material was imported from Oriental Country in which this style of structure exists, and is perhaps one of the most unique structures in America." Message reads: "Am here in Newport at 199 Spring St. Don't know just how long I will stay. Would you like me to visit you after the 15th? Jim will be off for about ten days and I shall be alone. The boat goes out for practice. Write to me To Mrs. Jordan Lovingly, Vera."
