Message reads: "Dearest Lee, Its a bright sunny day, but I cant see that it is any less 'wintery' in old Virginia than New York. There rivers are frozen solid and the ground white with snow. We will reach Richmond at noon. I do wish you were with me. With love, Ed." Postmark date: January 20, 1909; Postcard number: 25654; Message included.
