Description |
Interior of house, Isleta Pueblo, New Mexico, circa 1907-1914. Caption reads: "Isleta lies a few miles west of Albuquerque close to the railroad track and in plain view from the train. Pueblo architecture possesses nothing of the elaborate ornamentation of Aztec ruins found in Mexico. The house is usually built of stone, covered with adobe, and is severely plain.
